I know nothing about Columbus watches and haven't had any in my collection.

But... I was struck by this one... which has a solid gold case and a flawless, multi-color dial. The movement is in good shape and looks high-grade as well. It was recently serviced and runs well.

Case back.

The case is thick, with ornate design on the edges. The case shows very light wear.

I saw it at the National but I was too disracted to give it much thought. It sold but I got a 2nd chance to buy it. I figured that there can't be that many fancy Columbus dials around. My failure to recognize it, at the National, cost me but it all ended well! Smile

Very nice, very unusual.

Some of them call out to us and pull us in!
