Mystery gauge tool - for wire? pivots? sizes 000-34 Initially looks like a screwplate or screw plate... Holes are numbered from 000, 00, 0, 1 through to 34. There are other numbers outside the larger holes but no idea what they refer to... Roddy JB

I love old tools , let's try this - hole 0 should measure .06 mm , hole 1 should be .07 mm or #5 = 1/8" and # 14 = 1/4" , if that works it is numbered screws (US) sadly there are a few other odd screw measurement tables

If that didn't confuse you enough , here is 10 different wire gauges http://www.usefulinformation.e...gauges_imperial.html

It's not numbered screws anyway, number 14 is nowhere near 1/4" Roddy JB

Is it closer to a wire gauge or there are other screw gauges that pertain to watches , give me a couple measurements and I will look if I have time . (the doctors are currently pumping my wallet )
