I need a id on two gauges that I aquired recently. Any help appreciated.

I also posted on the GB,and an astute individual came up with an answer for me. The one is a gauge, for measuring pivot sizes, and also holes for determining jewel sizes. The other is not a gauge, but a stump or anvil that is held in a vice for use; French made. Sounds good to me.
