Hello,
I have acquired a “Favorite No.3” lathe and need advice on cleaning and lubrication.
The lathe does function, the head stock spins smoothly. I am assuming that I only need to do some “light” refurbishment to get her show ready.

As you can see in the picture, the head stock spindle needs polishing.
What would be the best way of going about this ?

I also need to lube a bezel chuck and maybe the tail stock.
What types of grease are used on parts like these ?
Who is a good suppliers ?

Any advice would be appreciated.
