This 415 came to me in a ruined case. I sometimes sell movements but I don't recase them unless I get a request. The sad fact is that there are many more movement than there are cases and the situation is getting worse now because of the price of gold. A sad truth.

I got this one running nicely and stored it for a couple years, and then on a lark I wanted to see how easily and evenly the SB plate screws could be blued. The answer is they are pretty good as long as you give them a quick polish with a felt wheel and simichrome and then thoroughly clean them. I also tried it with the ratchet and crown wheels and they blued nicely also. The engraving on the wheels was done with a rose-engine turning machine. Just a pretty "project" watch for me to look at or to put in a WW conversion case someday.
