South Bend 160 - My restoration project "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I recently picked this one up from the void that is ebay. Sadly this little guy is in poor shape.

The movement isn't working so that'll be one of the the first things I focus on with the help of Chris Abell who graciously agreed to "take a look".

I plan to try Lindell's spackle method on the dial hopefully this will make it at least presentable until I find a correct replacement dial (I know wishful thinking!).

The case, a beautiful multi-tone, is one of my favorite features, although someone decided to scratch out the gold marking on the dust cover...WHY!? Also, It is missing a bow so I'll be working to get that replaced as well.

I'll update with new pictures as the project progresses!

Wish me luck. Smile
