Mainspring barrel, Ingersoll Waterbury.

Hi folks. Disassembled the above watch but cannot work out how to separate the mainspring barrel to renew the mainspring. Any ideas?.

Yes, managed to get the two halves apart, they are a drive fit on the centre shaft. Looking at the whole watch, it really is a pile of crxp. You have to line up all gear wheels, the mainspring barrel AND the balance wheel to even attempt re-assembly!......it's just not worth the trouble so going to discard the thing into the back of a drawer in the shed.
Thanks for the replies. regards, Steve.
