What is the correct way to let down a mainspring on a full plate elgin movement.
I know how to do the three quarter but this is a different set up.
Thanks again.

Kevin,

There should be a small hole on the side of the movement you can put a probe into to engage the click. This should release the click and allow you to let down the mainspring with a bench key.
it is a lot easier to spot with the dial removed.
