Correct way to let down m spring on a full plate. "Click" to Login or Register

What is the correct way to let down a mainspring on a full plate elgin movement.
I know how to do the three quarter but this is a different set up.

There should be a small hole on the side of the movement you can put a probe into to engage the click. This should release the click and allow you to let down the mainspring with a bench key.
it is a lot easier to spot with the dial removed.

Thanks Aaron, i found the hole, i never noticed this hole before.
It worked well i used a bench key like you suggested. Cool Smile
