I have a waltham 18s,model '83,11j,ls,of
#5,444,919
It has a broken pivot on the pallet arbor(part #1337,a open face calls for this number). My question is, can I use a arbor out of say, a "83 with 15j's, if in fact it is also an open face.What is the chance of the pivots being the same size. Pivot size on good pivot is 23.

Hi Frank, Model 83's are sometimes crazy on their specs, but I have swapped a complete palate fork on 83's. The same fork works for OF and HC. I might have one for you if you are looking for one. Please e-mail me.
