Hi am a newbie and want to start acquiring tools and was wondering how does one adjust a watch in 5 positions without a timing machine? If not what kind of timing machines are affordable? Thank you

I just purchased the Microset timer. It works well and is quite affordable.

I picked up a Witschi knock off for $200 on eBay. It works well.
