Bezel help needed! "Click" to Login or Register

I picked up a nice parts watch. I decided to clean up what looked like a pretty decent case. Some fool had smeared crystal glue all over the outside of the bezel. I tried soaking it in watch cleaner, then ammonia and water. Finally tried the old wooden and then plastic toothpicks. Some came of but big gobs are unmoveable.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Ed,

If the bezel is off the watch you can put it an a pot of water then boil it on the stove for a while. If I remember correct about 3-10 minutes will loosen the glue. Then you should be able to get the glue off. I learned this from William White.
