Repair/change an 18s stem "Click" to Login or Register

Is there a special tool needed in order to repair or replace the stem on an 18 size Crescent PW case?

I can get the crown off but then there seems to be a tube in the stem that requires some type of spanner wrench to take it out.

Need some advice about this and if a special tool is needed where I might source one.

TIA,
Marty

Yes a sleeve wrench is used to remove or adjust the sleeve. They are commonly availble on Ebay and I'm sure some IHC185 members have some as well. Inexpensive if you are patient.

Gary:

Thanks for that information, which I will now post in the wanted section, and hopefully someone will have one to sell.
