Jules Jurgensen balance staff. "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to cut a new staff for a JJ pocket watch movement I have? I have the old staff, but both of the pivots are broke,so I have no idea what size they should be. That, and I'm not sure what condition the balance jewels are in. I'll probably sell this movement at a later date and would rather have it running.

Larry,

Have you tried dashto.com? Tom has some Jurgensen parts listed there. I believe Bob Tascione used to make custom staffs? If he doesn't, he might refer you to someone who does.

Good luck!

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply. I'll see if I can contact Bob and see what happens next.
