I have a Hampden size 6 and the mainspring is below the plates. I cannot winf it so I'm thinking that I should relieve the mainspring. How can I access it?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

If you look at the edge of the lower plate you may see a small hole to insert a pin to release the spring, of course unwind slowly.

Thanks Chris,
You are correct as always. However, this is so intricately small, I will leave it up to your expertise.
When I have a couple of more watches that need your attention, I will contact you.
