I was dealing on a Waltham Vanguard 23j Lossier Wind Indicator.

The lady emailed me to say her son had dropped the watch breaking the crystal and the PENDANT!

She got a quote of $250-300 CDN to repair the damage and I assume that included replacing the missing indicator hand.

The jeweller said there had been no internal damage.

Patrick, I was in contact with Leon and he gave me a good price on the repair.

Problem is the gal who owns the watch took it in to a jewelry store and they gave her a quote and said she could get a million dollars for it once repaired.

Actually they told her $1500 which I think is still high. 21J Vanguard, Lossier hair spring, Cdn 24 hr. dial with hairlines, repaired case and who knows what happened to the insides when it was dropped.

I made her an offer, as is before repair but she chose to fix it herself.
