Hi

My Waltham 16s model 1908 Vanguard #23177986 just quit working. I started to wind it and discovered the main spring is broke. Removed the main spring barrel and could not get it apart to check the spring? Any help on this, is there a trick, Thanks in advance.

Keith

Keith fasten the rachet wheel on the barrel with rachet wheel screw ,then hold the barrel and turn the rachet wheel counter clock wise and it should screw apart.

Somewhere on the site there is pictures i think on how this is done.
