I have just gotten an 83 Appleton Tracy it is a wonderful hunter. But it is missing the balance. As close as I can figure it was used to fix another watch around 1920. It has been sitting in a repair shop for all this time. I was given the watch. I have the balance cock but I need everything else

Hi Harv, I have some 1883 balances. If you could advise the serial number of the watch, I may have something you can use.

Ofther these need to be fitted some to jewels and the spacing between them (end play) when assembled.
