Slot cutting for lever set watch "Click" to Login or Register

I unfortunately have to recase a Rockford 925. I have a nice Fahys oresilver case that it would fit into nicely. I placed the movement into the case and noticed the slot for the lever setting mechanism is just a hair to small. Can anyone give me advice on the best way to widen that slot...

I use a swiss pattern file for a job like that.

I use a dremel tool, but be advised, you need a steady hand. If the tool gets away from you while cutting the notch, you can leave a pretty nasty gouge in the case.
