Master Navigation Watch (4992B) Manual "Click" to Login or Register

Master Navigation Watch (4992B) Manual

It appears to me that pages 10, 17, 21, and 23 are missing from the 1956 manual posted in the Hamilton Horology section. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm looking for any and all service information available for the 4992B so I would be very grateful to anyone who can provide the missing pages or let me know where they can be found.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I found the complete document on a French watch forum Chronomania.

Hi, I am new to ihc 185 and this is my first attempt at a question. I have a Hamilton 4992b with a bad balance staff and hairspring. Would parts from a 992 fit the 4992b? How do I find the service manual/ Thanks, Bruce

Hello Bruce & welcome to the site.

If I remember correctly the 4992B uses the same staff & hairspring from the 992B not the 992.

I may have a PDF copy of the military manual AN5740
for the 4992B. I will search my hard drives & see if I can find it.

Hi and thanks for the response. I found the parts list but no mention of a manual. I order a service manual off of ebay for the 992. Also I found I guess you would call it a blog by HandtDan on WWII 4992b pocket watch overhaul. It was very well done. Thanks, Again Bruce
