Waltham & Ross English Maker

Could not find any information on this maker in the fat book. Nicely finished key wind/set 13 jewel movement. Anyone heard of this maker?

Hi Ernest

A nice and clean swiss made watch.
Are there any hallmarks on the back cover and has the back some shield or other engravings?
No trace about 'Waltham & Ross'. Two possible reasons:
Small London watchmaker/jeweller or
a pseudo London name to create a british birth for a swiss watch for import/export using familiar sounding names (the type of things done with countless swiss made 'Tobias' watches).

Regards
Gerald
