Picked this one up today. Dial is marked A.D. Wilson New York. The movement which I can't identify the maker is also marked A.D. Wilson
1307 B'Way, New York. Does anyone know who the movement maker is and if A.D. Wilson was a jeweler?

Judging from that regulator, I would suggest your watch is of Swiss origin. I have seen a Patek Phillipe regulator that looks very similar yours except the plate design is different. See following picture. Zenith also produced somewhat similar regulators on some models; there may be other makers who once used what looks like a sort of 'Snail' regulator. Is your watch somewhat equivalent to an American size 6 or maybe 10?

Thanks everyone for your ideas on this piece.
The watch is about a American 16-18 size. Tom, a very funny incident. Thanks.
