Help with an English maker's name
I've had this old fusee lever movement for a long time.

The name is "George Hindson 1876." It looks like it has a flat hairspring and a few whopping big jewels. Does anyone have any info on this watchmaker?

That is, "May 1876". It seems unusual for the date to be inscribed on the movement. The serial number is 5396.
