I've had this old fusee lever movement for a long time.

Steve GossardThe name is "George Hindson 1876." It looks like it has a flat hairspring and a few whopping big jewels. Does anyone have any info on this watchmaker?

Steve GossardThat is, "May 1876". It seems unusual for the date to be inscribed on the movement. The serial number is 5396.
