The name is "George Hindson 1876." It looks like it has a flat hairspring and a few whopping big jewels. Does anyone have any info on this watchmaker? Steve G.  |

That is, "May 1876". It seems unusual for the date to be inscribed on the movement. The serial number is 5396. |
