If anyone can help, I know someone here can!
There is an 18k repeater coming up for sale & the description is very brief. They state:18K Pocket Watch 15 min. Repeater Lever Set 35 Rubis Breguet Balancier Compense. Can anyone identify the maker?

I haven't a clue as to who made this watch. I do have an H. Grandjean (time only) hunter in a very similar case with a very similar dial. Grandjean was a very prominent maker. One assumes that it would have signed the watch if it had made it.

It is my sense that watches of this style typically were made for the South American market, but the cuvette descriptions in French might indicate otherwise.

The watch is, of course, a 1/4 hour repeater with a chrongraph (but no minute register).
