Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me with some information of an English fusee pocket watch I just purchased at a local auction. Currently my books (Loomes etc) are packed away and I can't look up information on the watchmaker and case maker.
The case has the Sterling silver hallmarks for London 1876 (capital A) and the maker's mark 'RJO'. Does anyone know details of this casemaker?
Also, the movement has the following markings 'William Dent Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty' and 'London EC 15899', does anyone have details on this watchmaker?
I will try and post photo's tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
Geoff
