Pioneer Watch - Help "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hi,

I purchased an watch in Ebay signed Pioneer Watch and W. M. Butters. I don't know anything about those names.
The only thing that likes very strange is the "Chronometer Balance" engraved in dustproof.

Bellow is some photos of it. I will be glad if someone help me with any information about "Pioneer Watch" or "W. M. Butters".

Tks,

Paulo

Tom,

The numbers are an scale 1 to 4 in both sides "Fast" and "Slow".
The balance wheel is bi-metallic but not split.

There is an auctioneer named William A Butters & Co in Chicago in the 1870’s

Any case marks?
