Mystery Hallmarks Can Anyone Help?Go ![]() | New Topic ![]() | Find-Or-Search ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply to Post ![]()
I just acquired this small ebauche movement watch that is marked "Remontoir-Cylindre 10 Rubis" I am attaching a picture of the Hallmarks inside the back cover and would like to know if they indicate a country of origin and any other factors regarding the watch. I know what the Argent 800 signifies....Thanks.........Keith

The crown & cresent is a silver hallmark from Germany. Argent is French for silver, the "800" oval appears to be a silver content mark. The winged mark is more likely a trade mark for a watchmaker. Best regards, Greg
