An early Omega? "Click" to Login or Register

As far as I can see, the serial no. on this Omega that I have, suggests that it is from approx. 1896/97/98. Omega started production in 1895 with serial no. 1,000,000, according to a table I referenced.

The movement does not have the Omega logo on it that I have noticed on later watches, but the design layout is similar to other Omegas I have seen.

The case is BANNER 20 years. I had it replated with 10 micron 18kt gold.

Is anyone an Omega fan and able to comment on this one?
