And I am struggling with white balance. So pardon the erratic pics. I'm much more comfortable with natural light.

I have a 999B also. Not really a fun watch to own. That's if you're idea of a fun watch is to carry it.

It looks like a very decent watch. The bow needs to be tightened, and I have some concern about the dial. I can say that it winds and sets nicely, and its been on time since he received it. So any opinions, for or against, will be received with gratitude. If any other pics would be helpful I might be able to get into lighting that favors my limited skills tomorrow. Thanks, Mike

This looks sweet to me-Are you afraid the dial's no good?
And I saw an old post once on bow tightening-a hamilton case, but I think there are similarities. The only trouble is the dang tools;I still don't have one...

Hi Marty, Yes, that's one of my concerns. I have two Ball watches that I bought without consulting any of our experts. Believe me, I held my breath while mine were looked at. And my friend knows a bit less than me. There's so much potential for fraud. Hopefully, it will check out. I'll try to get some pics in natural light today. Even if its only the dial. Thanks for looking at it.
