I also have Ball B637304 serial number indicating a production date of 1930. Does it also use 992B Hamilton hour wheel and hands??

Hello Dennis,

Knowing I am a bit late to the dance, the parts you were asking about on both your watches are the same as those for a Hamilton 992-Elinvar of the same era. When they engineered the entirely new in 1940 Hamilton 992B their claim and the reality was that nothing interchanged from earlier "Pre-B" models. So always remember the "Pre-B" and "B" separation line when seeking any movement parts or hardware as the movements are entirely different. Even the "hole-sizes" in the hands are different, there is no interchangeability.

Hope this is of help to you and others,

Lindell
