I have just recently obtained a Hamilton Ball pocket watch. The watch is beautiful but I have been told the bow may not be original. Could you please look at the picture provided and let me know what you think. I just recently got into watch collecting. With me not knowing what I am doing, if something looks good and I have the money, I jump on it (big mistake). Any information would be helpful.

Nice 21J Hamilton 999 Ball from 1927-'28, but a cheap fix "replacement bow".

Your bow should look like this the one I have pictured, in white gold filled, of course Wink

To find a correct "stirrup bow" is near to an impossible feat, good luck.

regards,
bb
