just wonder if any one have any clue on this
one 2 pictures to view.
Looks to be size 16 hampden dial with who made that movement?

Hi Peter,

The Fat Book talks about the "Ebauches S.A. watches on Page 86. Internet searches lead to some interesting reading as well.

This movement is almost certainly post 1900 based on the winding and click mechanisms... and judging by the train/finger bridges is likely in the later end of the 1900-1930 era.

This movement appears to be undersized for the case, which is to be expected for a Swiss movement considering they were on a different standard, if any.

I don't see the typical Swiss style case screws. They are generally deep inside and attach by catching the front lip of the case rather than the back ring. A person would have to take her apart to see if it was modified by a watch maker to fit an American case, but that is my assumption.

The handful of examples I have are great runners and fun to have around. More of a novelty than a collector item. I have one Tobias only because it was my grandmothers maiden name. I bought another because it had wolfs teeth winding gears and a mustache pallet.
