Hey folks.
Would a late model Bunn Special have been put in, say, a model one case, initially from the factory that way?

Yes, 16 size Bunn Specials were factory-cased starting in 1924 using the First Model Bunn Special case. The First Model case continued thru 1929, when the Model 29 case was phased in.

Bunn Specials were also available as movements only up thru 1929 production.
