Is there any comprehensive pages of Hamilton dials.
I have just bought a 972 and I have not seen this dial before, is this the dial that should be on a 972 ?
Hopefully Mike will not mind me using his picture of the dial.
Bill

Hello Bill,

This is one of the first questions I asked as a new member. Here is a link to the post that answered my question; https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...323962667#1323962667 I am still trying to figure out if the old 972's were SS or DS. The information I find here under the 1919 catalog http://library.ihc185.com/catalogs/ham1919/24_25.jpg state they come with DS dials. However all my old movement have SS dials.

Without looking the dates up exactly I think this was a dial option around 1907 - 1908 but the link above will give you the specific dates.

Harry,
Thanks for the link, I thought I had seen the question posed before but couldn't find it.
It answers the question.
