A friend tells me that the Rockford--serial number 278486 is a grade 66,OF,Nickel movement,11 jewels, and a Model 7.

Nice looking movement Tony.

I wonder if the regulator could be one of Charles Teske's? I think he patented about 10 different micro regulators that had a screw adjustment at the end of the arm.

I have looked at a few that are very similar to yours but have yet to find a patent for one just like yours. I will keep looking.
