Military watch parts "Click" to Login or Register

Are military watch parts worth buying.

I have no spare parts, just a few movements so do you think a batch of military parts 16s and 6s would be worth obtaining?

I have seen posts where people have specified No Military so I wondered whether they are inferior quality or just different to the standard production.

Thanks, Mike

Most of whats out there is stuff that never breaks. The government had tons of surplus because they stocked enough repair parts at every shop they had across the globe.

The dials, stems, jewels, balance assy's... get sold individually for a pretty healthy price... the bulk lots are generally items I would never use.

The aged brown cardboard boxes do make a great display next to an old military clock or pocket watch though...
