I bought this only because it is from a railway terminal down the way from where I grew up.

Any guesses on the movement it longs for will be appreciated.

Hi Lorne, that's a nice 16s Hampden RR dial, used on model 4 and 5 movements. That's the first private label marked one I have seen.It must be Canadian, but no 24 Hr. markers. That style dial is the most common of Hampden railroad dials, used on all RR grades, even shows up on non-RR grades.I wonder if it came off a P.L.-marked movement? Thanks for showing it!...Ted.

Thank you for the info Ted.

I had a hunch it was Hampden but don't have any 16s so wasn't sure. I will be looking out for a suitable one now.

Seller has no idea of what movement it came from.

Larry has a nice 17j Ball/Waltham in a W.G. Watson loaner case in his private Label thread.

Great Hampden dial... the numbers on these dials always make me think of Dudley Do-Right from the old cartoons I grew up on.
