More and more I appreciate these metal dials and their weatherbeaten look.

Being a renegade Seth man, I have no spare Waltham stuff.

Under the hood lay an excellent 17-jewel engine that needed nothing but a good degreasing.

Note the "3 Positions" by the balance wheel on the lower plate. Anybody ever seen this?

Nice one Eric! I think that may be a grade 637.I have one like it, my daily work watch, also lever-set and has the "3 positions" under the balance like yours.They're street railway watches.Mine has a double sunk Montgomery dial marked "Waltham Electric Railway".My SN is 18092585.Makes a great carry watch, accurate and bulletproof.Thanks for showing it....Ted.
