I had picked up an OF version earlier this year and decided to pick up a hunter version. This one has the sn in the 1,767,xxx range and has the gothic Illinois Watch lettering and Arabic numerals. Did the early runs have the plum colored hands or blued? What I could find is there were just under 7100 produced in the hunter version. This one has thin shanked spade and poker hands.

This one does not have the round "double roller" marking on the plates but by 1905 and this quality of movement I would expect it to have had a double roller from the beginning without regards to any markings

Watch arrived today, movement is running and keeping time so far, dial needs cleaning, hands are thin spade and poker plum colored so probably original hands. Movement is free of corrosion on the wheel and any tool slip markings and appears to have a full gold train. I have a nice gold hunter case to put it in and a matching OF 21j Getty Sangamo. Probably needs a COA since from the dial it probably has been a while since it probably was cleaned and oiled.
