Need grade and number produced for Illinois watch "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I have an 18S, 17J Illinois watch--SN 503,361. What is the grade and how many were produced?

This watch is obviously a higher grade watch. It is nicely finished, adjusted, with a Chalmer's regulator. The dial is a higher grade DS roman dial.

According to Russ Synders database it is a grade 65 or 65-8 and 1,393 were made.

Robert, Thanks for the input. I was delayed in responding due to being in travel mode.
