Were There Elgin Grade 162 Lever Set?
Question to ALL.

Were There Elgin Grade 162 Lever Set?

Is there any records of Elgin Making a grade 162, 21j open face pocket watch with LEVER SET? And if Elgin did make it, what is the production on that movement? Thank you.

Hi Sham,

I don't recall ever seeing a Grade 162 in Lever-Set. Confused

Should there be one out there, I for one would enjoy seeing a picture. Cool

Hi Sham,

I just did some looking in the Elgin database and the only open face, 21J, lever set, bridge movement that Elgin produced was grade 270.

Have you seen a grade 162 that is lever set? If so, do you know the serial number of the movement?

Actually yes, but no too!

Read the Elgin site link below for the information.
Seems that it's an unusual situation, and may be a grade 351 Lever set.

Seems there's and 11 year gap that's in the same run. Take a look.

Oh, and the grade 162 is 3 finger bridge, and the 351 is not? and 23j too. Kind of confusing huh?

I must just have something to do with the runs of numbers?
