I came across this dial and wasnt sure what it was used for or on what type watch. I looked at my list and could fine the feet pattern. The feet are at minute marks 18.5,36.5 and 52.5

Forgot to mention it measures the same size as a 18 size dial at 45.6mm and with three feet I assume it is American.

Taking a guess, it looks like a 24-hr dial to me, perhaps for a military or Canadian railroad watch.

Best Regards,

I agree Ed and it would have to be for a watch like the 4992B that one rotation takes 24 hrs but I was wonder what maker of watch would it be for and was it a true military watch dial or for some other purpose.

Did they make a kit to change standard watches over to run 24hr for one rotation like they made the kit for the 4992B to convert them over to a 12 hour per rotation.

I have seen that dial on a private label Rockford. If I can find it again I will post a pic.

Thank you Lorne you are correct it is for a Rockford I just checked it against one of my loose dials. My chart doesnt show this feet location for a Rockford. Now I wonder if this has a kit where you can change the hour and minute wheels so it will run 24 hours on one time around.

I got a couple emails showing interest in this dial has anyone seen what these bring I have no idea on value?? I dont want to give it away but yet I do not want to price it to high. I learned many many many years ago not to just take offers when I sold a like new B of LE movement/dial way to cheap by accepting an offer/estimate on value on someone I thought I could trust for a true value and made me sick after I found out the true value.
