Illinios Time King "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I just finished this watch. It was my first balance staff replacement. A big thank you to everyone who chimed in on the post of that topic.
Its a 1927 Illinois Time king. Its a 16s, has 21 jewels, its lever set, and is running very nicely. It ran about 25 hours on a wind keeping excellent time, about 5 seconds fast from what I can tell. Thats good enough for me. Smile
I am becoming more of a Illinois collector with Hampden coming in second and my old favourite Elgin third. Perhaps I will post my newest Hampden next after it gets a bath.
