Is this 16s case from around 1929? I am guessing that the first 2 numbers in the jewelers service marks may be the year. Am I close?
Thanks,
Mike

I remember reading somewhere that the 10K filled cases became much more prevalent in the 1930's.

Mike the style makes me think that it is from the period from 1935-55 but that is just a guess.

Deacon & Michael, that would be my guess also especially around the late 20's & early 30's as Dave suggested....

So those Jeweler marks may in fact mean something that a layperson can understand....

Regards,

Jerry

Thanks everyone, I thought it looked "too new" for the 1st run 21J Bunn Special in it.
