ILLINOIS GOTHIC DIAL QUESTION. "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hi, i came across a nice 24j s18 illinois bunn special, but it didnt have a gothic dial,
it just had a regular double sunk dial. Should it have a gothic dial?
Does not having the gothic dial reduce its value a great deal?
Thank you,

The late Edward Parsons Jr. put together for us in our Illinois Watch Forum, 3 pages of facts regarding the 18sz Illinois Bunn/Bunn Special watches. Here is the helpful click-able link;

https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...1029912/m/4753958877

The Bunn Special 24 Jewel watches were produced from 1895 until 1919. The dials used in those 24 years would be the Bold Gothic Arabic Numerals in Old English in 4 variants & The Fancy Roman Numeral dials in Script.

regards,
bb
