Adjusted to 4 PositionsGo ![]() | New Topic ![]() | Find-Or-Search ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply to Post ![]()
I recently aquired a 16 size (Grade 636) Waltham and a 16 size Elgin that are adjusted to 4 Positions. I have been involved in posts about the Waltham before but did not know that Elgin also made a movement to the same specs. I only posted a photo of the marking on the Elgin because the movement is in pieces at the moment. It would seem that they must have been made for a specific purpose. I am of course curious about the purpose but also about what are the 4 Positions. I am wondering if they might be Pendant Up, Pendant Left, Pendant Right and Pendant Down. I think it is the only four with any symmetry. If it were Dial Up, Dial Down and 2 others, what would they be? Any thoughts? Jim
