The hands look right to me, others will qualify better. It has all the earmarks of a Veteran RR watch. I like the slight wearmark on the bow. It was carried the exact same way day in-day out. Probably a Conductor's watch. Research the name engraved on the dust cover.

If you could post what the name is on the engraving I can see if I can find anything. Also to help maybe narrow down the location for the person do you know what state the watch came from when you bought it?

Tom the seller thinks the watch is from the Cleveland area. I am assuming Ohio.
