The hands look right to me, others will qualify better. It has all the earmarks of a Veteran RR watch. I like the slight wearmark on the bow. It was carried the exact same way day in-day out. Probably a Conductor's watch. Research the name engraved on the dust cover. | |||

If you could post what the name is on the engraving I can see if I can find anything. Also to help maybe narrow down the location for the person do you know what state the watch came from when you bought it? | |||
