I picked this Hamilton 917 up this week. It is very clean and running well. I had originally bought it due to the masonic symbol on the back. It is a very beautiful watch in person.

And here is the Back. It says:
"Worshipful Master Roosevelt Lodge No. 626"
"Ray F. Knecht"
"A.F. & A.M."
"Davenport, IA 1945"
Thought everyone would enjoy a nice piece of history like this. I did a little research on Ray. He was the Master Mason in 1945. I'm guessing the watch was a gift for him.

Nice watch Jared. If it helps in your research it appears Raymond F. Knecht was born Sept. 15, 1905 in Iowa & died at the age of 95 May 20, 2001 in Davenport Iowa.
