Nice watch Timothy , I have one similar , I really like the finish Rockford applied to even their lesser jewel watches , It seems that beauty was given the same priority as function , unlike the last of the american watches that had almost plain plates by the mid to late 30's

I Don't understand why the companies cheap out on the decoration of the movements either. They had to know there would be crazy people like us who would spend a lot of money collecting only the most beautiful movements.

Timothy, sure they knew we would be enjoying these 100 years in the future ? I imagine most of the original owners may have seen the “machine room” at time of purchase , then not so much. Mike
